Classically-trained guitarist, Richard Callaghan, is now accepting students in the Midlothian/Penicuik area. Richard is currently a guitar tutor and mentor with the Edinburgh Council, and has vast experience in teaching students of all ages and abilities.

Guitar lessons are for anyone from the total beginner to the advanced and experienced player.

Richard is able to create a focused and detailed set of goals and benchmarks, whether you...are total beginner and don’t know where to start. You have bought a few books and have watched a few videos on YouTube, but are still finding it difficult to get going.  have been playing for a while, but feel you have come to a plateau and don’t know how to take your playing to the next level.are studying music at school. You need to get your playing to a specific standard to achieve the grade you want and would like some guidance. are an experienced guitar player looking to refine your technique.feel all your solos sound the same and want to expand upon your ideas.
